Sandia National Laboratories/New Mexico (SNL/NM) proposes to provide mobile meteorological instrumentation on an as-needed or as-required basis. SNL/NM owns and operates a suite of mobile meteorological instruments including, trailer-mounted meteorological towers, trailer-mounted sound detection and ranging systems (SODAR), and a Digicora System that can be used to tether an instrumented balloon, or send a free balloon into the atmosphere to measure atmospheric-state parameters through the troposphere.
