The Department of Energy is proposing to provide federal funding to SkyFuel to develop and demonstrate an advanced low-cost Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) solar collector, using higher-concentration, higher-temperature parabolic trough technology, with the ultimate goal of reducing the cost of baseload utility-scale solar power generation.
