The City of Georgetown, Texas proposes to use federal funds to design and install a solar power demonstration system. This project would include installation of solar panels on a parking cover utilized by the city that was completed in 2009, creation of educational materials/internship opportunities related to new energy concepts, and research and develop novel photovoltaic and photo-chemical oxidation techniques and devices, and project management and reporting.
