The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Legacy Management (LM) proposes various reclamation activities related to abandoned mines and mine features that constitute a public safety concern. Independent contractors associated with the lessee (Cotter Corporation) and under supervision of uranium leasing program (ULP) personnel would complete the work, and all projects would be completed within approximately 3 weeks. C-SR-II is located in southwestern San Miguel County, Colorado. The total estimated surface disturbance would cover 3 acres.
