Montana State University proposes to use federal funds to perform basic research in wind turbine systems, perform manufacturing research, outreach, and training for the manufacturing of wind turbine components in an effort to create jobs. These activities will be accomplished through holding technical interchange meetings, workshops, and an education of wind turbine manufacturing companies.
