Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. This project is to take advantage of new technology in energy efficiency. An audit, field inspection, and a report by an energy consultant will be conducted to determine efficient energy conservation measures such as retrofitting existing electrical light fixtures, placing motion detectors on lights, and introducing heat controls inside public buildings located in the Aleutians East Borough. The work will then be put out to bid, contractor selected, and work performed.
