The State of Texas will provide $472,400 to the City of Addison for the installation of 10 wind turbines to offset the power needs of the city. Preliminary plans indicate that the turbines are to be installed on the City's water tower located at 4000 Arapaho Road, Addison. The turbines are expected to have a combined rating of approximately 38.5 kilowatts.
