The State of Colorado will provide $210,000 to B&H Industries to install a 100 kilowatt ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) system at a livestock feeding facility located at Rocky Ford Feedyard, 30611 County Rd. 16, Rocky Ford, CO. The solar array covers an area approximately 640x100 feet and will be ground mounted. The area where the PV array will be located has been used for cattle grazing: the area adjacent is for cattle grazing. Beyond that, the area is primarily farmland. The site is located about 40 miles east of Pueblo. The terrain is fairly flat.
