The City of El Paso, Texas proposes to use $800,000.00 of Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) funds for the design and install of a landfill gas (LFG) collection and recovery system at the city-owned Clint Landfill. Funds will primarily be used to hire a consultant to prepare a LFG Management Plan, plan and design construction plans, and hire a consultant to install the first phase of the recovery system.
