To create an ultra-compact 80 lumens per watt (LPW) solid state lighting (SSL) luminaire that emits at a color temperature of 3000 Kelvin with a color rendering index (CRI) of 90. The project will involve synergetic light-emitting diode (LED) component, optics, thermal management and driver development.
