Federal Interagency Working Group on Environmental Justice

  • The Environmental Justice(EJ) IWG conducted 18 community dialogues across the country from February 2011 to November 2011. Comments and concerns of the community were recorded at each meeting. The IWG's commitment was that its agency partners would provide responses to communities about the concerns that were raised during these meetings. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA's) Office of Environmental Justice debuts the first video in its Environmental Justice 20th Anniversary Video Series. The videos commemorate two decades of working to advance environmental justice at EPA and feature representatives of non-profit organizations, businesses, federal and local governments and students sharing stories about the lessons they have learned while working for environmental justice.
