Inspection of Environment, Safety, and Health Programs at the Savannah River Site, February 2006

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Independent Oversight (Independent Oversight) conducted an inspection of environment, safety, and health (ES&H) programs at the DOE Savannah River Site (SRS) during January and February 2006. The inspection was performed by Independent Oversight’s Office of Environment, Safety and Health Evaluations.

This report provides the results of an inspection of the environment, safety, and health programs at the Department of Energy's (DOE) Savannah River Site.  The inspection was conducted in January and February 2006 by the DOE Office of Independent Oversight's Office of Environment, Safety and Health Evaluations, within the Office of Security and Safety Performance Assurance.  Independent Oversight also evaluated the emergency management programs at the site during this inspection; the results of which are contained in a separate report.
