Review of the Oak Ridge Office Oversight of the Fire Protection Program at the Oak Ridge Reservation

This report provides the results of an independent review of the fire protection program at the Department of Energy's (DOE) Oak Ridge Office (ORO).  The review was conducted June 26 to July 1, 2011, by the Office of Safety and Emergency Management Evaluations, within the DOE Office of Health, Safety and Security, at the request of the ORO Manager and ORO Assistant Manager for Environmental Management.  The purpose of the review was to assess ORO’s oversight of the contractor's implementation of the site fire protection program.
