Review of Electrical System Configuration Management and Design Change Control at the Savannah River Site, Waste Solidification Building Project

This report provides the results of an independent oversight review of selected engineering processes for the Waste Solidification Building's safety significant electrical system at the Department of Energy's (DOE) Savannah River Site.  The review was performed May 2-6, 2011, by the DOE Office of Safety and Emergency Management Evaluations, which is within the DOE Office of Health, Safety and Security.  The purpose of the review was to assess the adequacy of the contractor’s electrical system configuration management and design change control during construction and initial system turnover activities.
