DOE referred the matter of Summit freezer model CF11ES, which is manufactured by Midea and distributed under the Midea brand as model HS-390C, to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, brand manager for the ENERGY STAR Program, for appropriate action after DOE testing showed that the model does not meet the ENERGY STAR specification.
