This compromise agreement to settle the Proposed Civil Penalty and possible action of the DOE against Quietside Corporation for its violations of the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA). It sets out two payment schemes for the penalties, for $5,000 if made in 30 days and for $10,000 if made in 60 days, and obligates Quietside to certify all products sold in the US within 60 days, with a fee set for each day over. In exchange, DOE promises to terminate enforcement actions. The agreement also includes other basic details (e.g. jurisdiction, dates, waivers, etc.).
