DOE ordered The Mackle Company, Inc., to pay a $6,000 civil penalty after finding Mackle Co. had failed to certify that basic model D110, a clothes dryer, complies with the applicable energy conservation standards. The Order adopted a Compromise Agreement, which reflected settlement terms between DOE and Mackle Co.
