Company, Georgia Power Company, Gulf Power Company, Mississippi Power Company, and its other affiliates (collectively, “Southern”), is pleased to have this opportunity to provide responses to questions contained in the Department of Energy (“DOE”) Request for Information referenced above regarding smart grid customer data issues. Although more detailed responses to these questions are included, Southern would like to first raise some threshold considerations with respect to these customer data issues.
