The Office of Fossil Energy gives notice of receipt of an Application filed on April 20, 2015, by Sabine Pass Liquefaction, LLC (SPL), seeking long-term multi-contract authorization to export domestically produced liquefied natural gas (LNG) in an amount up to the equivalent of 203 billion standard cubic feet (Bcf) of natural gas per year.  SPL proposes to export LNG from the liquefaction project currently being developed by SPL and its affiliate, Sabine Pass LNG, L.P., at the existing Sabine Pass LNG import, storage and vaporization terminal in Cameron Parish, Louisiana.  SPL requests authorization for a 25-year period commencing on the earlier of the date of first export or eight years from the date the authorization is issued.  SPL proposes to export LNG to any nation that currently has or in the future develops the capacity to import LNG to any country with which the United States does not have a FTA requiring national treatment for trade in natural gas with which trade is not prohibited by United States law or policy. SPL is requesting authorization to export LNG for itself and as agent for third parties who themselves hold title to the LNG at the time of export.
