The Office of Fossil Energy gives notice of receipt of an Application filed on April 3, 2015, by Cameron LNG, LLC seeking long-term, multi-contract authorization to export domestically produced liquefied natural gas (LNG) in an amount up to the equivalent of 152 billion standard cubic feet (Bcf) of natural gas per year. Cameron LNG proposes to export LNG from the liquefaction project currently being developed by Cameron LNG at the existing Cameron LNG Terminal  in Cameron and Calcasieu Parishes, Louisiana.  Cameron LNG requests authorization for a 20-year period to commence on the date of first export or 7 years from the date of issuance of the authorization requested by this application, whichever is sooner. Cameron LNG proposes to export LNG to any country with which the United States does not have a free trade agreement requiring national treatment for trade in natural gas and LNG and with which trade is not prohibited by U.S. law or policy. Cameron LNG is requesting authorization to export LNG for itself and as agent for third parties who themselves hold title to the LNG at the time of export.
