Winter officially hit this week, and those of you on the east coast found out in a big way. Many of you are still shoveling out while trying to take care of those last-minute holiday preparations. (I'm actually kind of jealous. I love shoveling snow. I just hate driving in it.)
Anyway, I know you're busy, so before you run off to bake more cookies (send me some?), here are some quick energy-related reminders for the next few weeks:
As you're running through your to-do list, don't forget to think about how you can save energy during all of the hustle and bustle. Our entry from last year on Tips to Save Energy During the Holidays is a good place to start.
Resolve to Save
During a quieter moment, you may be looking ahead to 2010 and thinking about your resolutions. I, of course, think you should Resolve to Save Energy in the New Year. This entry from last year will help you make SMART energy-saving resolutions that last longer than the average new-year gym membership, so check it out and tell us in the comments how you plan to save energy in 2010.
Stay Warm, Save Money
Finally, if you're one of those freezing in the cold and snow, don't forget that our Stay Warm, Save Money site is a good place to start for ideas on how you can save energy while staying toasty warm. The falling snow on the home page alone makes me want to put on a sweater.
Have a safe, happy, and energy-efficient holiday season!
