EM’s cleanup activities at Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) take place at the SNL section located on Kirtland Air Force Base, near Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Sandia National Laboratories-New Mexico Environmental Restoration Operations Project scope includes the remediation of inactive waste disposal and release sites, along with the characterization and remediation of three plumes of contaminated groundwater.

Bill Wilborn, Program Manager

 

Bill Wilborn serves as the Deputy Program Manager for Operations within the Environmental Management (EM) Nevada Program. As Deputy Program Manager, he is responsible for all operations related to soil remediation, deactivation & decommission of historic nuclear testing facilities, groundwater characterization, waste disposal activities, and long-term monitoring.
