DOE Awards Small Business Contract to Support Cleanup of New York West Valley Demonstration Project

Cincinnati - The Department of Energy (DOE) today awarded a contract to Enviro Compliance Solutions Inc. of Tustin, California to perform environmental sampling, monitoring services and analysis of ongoing cleanup activities being performed at the West Valley Demonstration Project in western New York. The contract is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) with a $4 million value and a three-year period of performance.

Enviro Compliance Solutions Inc. is a small-disadvantaged business under the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) Program. Firm-Fixed-Price and Time & Material task orders will be issued off of the ID/IQ contract. Enviro Compliance Solutions Inc. is performing similar work at West Valley under a previous contract.

The mission of the Office of Environmental Management is to complete the safe cleanup of the environmental legacy brought about from five decades of nuclear weapons development and government-sponsored nuclear energy research.
