Joseph R. Yanek

Joe has over 40 years experience in the leadership of government, nuclear and military operations, including 30 years of senior management experience in the development and execution of programs, projects and operations supporting nuclear, nuclear safety, environmental safety & health, and regulatory functions in line, division and corporate assignments. He is currently Fluor Government Group's Executive Director for Technical Support Services with responsibility for providing technical solutions to clients throughout the government sector. Prior to this position, he served as the Government Group's Executive for HSE, and, had portfolio responsibility for Fluor's Global HSE Safety Services Business Development and Sales operations. 

Additionally, from 1980 to 2006, he served in the M & O Contractor's organization at the Savannah River Site. Externally, he is the Past Chair of the Energy Facility Contractor's Group (EFCOG), a consortium of 100+ companies supporting the DOE across the United States, and, a member of the ANSI/ASME Nuclear Quality Assurance Standards Main Committee for over 25 years. He served in the U. S. Air Force on Active Duty for 10 years and 17 years in the Air Force Reserves where he retired as the Deputy Logistics Director of the 315th Airlift Wing, Charleston AFB, South Carolina in 1997. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky and an M.S. in Systems Management from the Univ. of So. California.
