Department of Energy (DOE) Job Safety and Health poster. DOE Order 440.1B Worker Protection Program for DOE (Including the National Nuclear Security Administration) Federal Employees and title 10, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), part 851, Worker Safety and Health Program, both require that a worker safety and health poster be posted in a prominent location to inform employees of their rights and responsibilities. In the past, DOE has had two separate worker safety and health posters: one for Federal employees consistent with Order 440.1B and a second one for contractor employees consistent with 10 CFR 851. This poster serves as a single DOE poster for both Federal and contractor employees. The poster includes sections on employees’ and employee representatives’ rights, employees’ responsibilities, and DOE and DOE contractors’ responsibilities. Also included is a space for officials to identify the local safety and health representative and where to find information about local employee concerns processes.
