Donna J. Governor
EFCOG Work Management Chair

Donna Governor is currently the P&I Deputy Department Head assisting the Department in the day-to-day department operations, including managing the Systems Planning Division and has worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) for twenty-five years. Donna is recognized as the Work Planning & Control SME for the Operations & Business Principle Associate Directorate, and serves on the LLNL Work Control Review Board. Donna has a Management degree from Saint Mary's College, and began her laboratory career as a Production Control data entry clerk. Her career path has taken several turns, including Maintenance Production Division Manager of 500+ craft and service personnel. In 2007, Donna was asked to establish and implement a Work Planning & Control (WP&C) process for the Maintenance Production Division that aligned with ISMS and the National Nuclear Security Administration's (NNSA), Activity Level Work Planning and Control Processes, Attributes, Best Practices, and Guidance for Effective Incorporation of Integrated Safety Management and Quality Assurance document. This WP&C process was presented to the LLNS' management team, who requested it be used as the bases of the current LLNL's Institution-Wide WP&C process. 

Donna has been involved in EFCOG for 20 years. This has included involvement in Maintenance Working Group and participation in two spin offs; Safety Culture Revolution through Employee Empowerment workshops and the Work Management Subgroup that later transferred over to the ISM/QA Working Group. Donna has held the positions of Secretary and Vice Chair, and is currently serving as the Chair of the EFCOG Work Management Subgroup.
