Weatherization Program Notice 19-4 supersedes WPN 16-7.
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is streamlining and consolidating active Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) Guidance documents in order ease the burden on grantees in implementing WAP. As such, grantees are better equipped to:
- Determine and assess weatherization materials and related specifications that have been approved for use in the WAP by DOE for specific grantees
- Follow the necessary requirements to request DOE approval of additional materials not currently on Appendix A or approved within another grantee.
