ARCHIVED Weatherization Program Notice 13-5: Revised Energy Audit Approval Procedures and Other Related Audit Issues

Weatherization Program Notice 16-8 supersedes WPN 13-5.

To establish energy audit approval criteria used by U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to determine:

Compliance with rule 10 CFR Part 440
Establish procedures by which Grantees can submit energy audits and lists of genearal heat waste reduction measures to DOE for approval every 5 years pursuant to 10 CFR Part 440.21(i)
Establish requirements for switching energy audit tools
Estblish requirements for DOE access to web-based energy auditing tools.
