Hear from solar’s brightest visionaries about what’s on the horizon for the U.S. solar energy industry

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Members of the media are invited to attend the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) SunShot Initiative’s 2014 Grand Challenge Summit and Peer Review in Anaheim, California from May 19-22, 2014.

Only three years into the decade-long SunShot Initiative, the U.S. solar industry is 60% of the way to SunShot’s 2020 affordability goal ($0.06/kWh for utility-scale PV). So what’s on the horizon?  This premier  solar industry event presents a unique opportunity to hear different perspectives on this “grand challenge” from the visionary researchers and scientists, academics, policymakers, innovators, and business leaders who are driving  down the cost of solar energy and enabling U.S. solar market growth.

Members of the media will have access to SunShot leaders and more than 300 of its distinguished project teams, including SunShot Incubator program awardees. See the most up-to-date agenda and speaker list, and stay tuned for regular updates.
