Proposals in response to the RFQ are due October 8, 2014.

In support of DOE’s Hydrogen Fueling Infrastructure Research and Station Technology (H2FIRST) project launched in April 2014, Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) has issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for hydrogen station equipment performance testing device fabrication. The device is designed by SNL to measure the performance of 700 bar hydrogen fueling stations against the requirements of SAE J2601 and J2799. Qualified applicants must be experienced with design and assembly of high pressure hydrogen gas manifolds specifically for hydrogen fueling or station design, or a related field. In addition, qualified participants must have an operational facility where assembly and preliminary testing will take place.

All proposals from potential suppliers are due no later than October 8, 2014, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Device requirements and additional information can be found at the at the FedBizOpps site under ID 569398: Hydrogen Station Test Device Design and Fabrication.
