The Energy Department will present a live webcast titled “EE SBIR Webinar for First Time Applicants on FY14 Phase I Release 2 Topics” on Monday, December 9, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.  The webinar is intended to benefit first time applicants to EERE’s Topics in the FY14 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Funding Opportunity. The webinar will feature opening remarks from Mr. Jere Glover, one of the founders of the federal SBIR program, and will feature experts from EERE’s technology offices who will provide background information that can often be difficult for first time applicants to find.

The full SBIR/STTR Funding Opportunity Announcement was issued on November 25, 2013, and applications will be due February 4, 2014.  A webinar was held on November 4 to provide additional information about the topics. View the recorded webinar.
