On June 22, the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy’s (EERE’s) Fuel Cell, Bioenergy, and Vehicle Technologies Offices will host a Sustainable Transportation Day showcasing EERE’s strategic investments in sustainable transportation technologies.

Attendees will include DOE staff, EERE leadership, and transportation stakeholders from the public sector and private industry. The Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV), currently available for lease, and the Toyota Mirai FCV, currently available for lease and soon for commercial sale in California, will also be on display.

Also on exhibit will be the Green Racing Simulator, the Freightliner SuperTruck, and the 3-D printed Shelby Cobra car—a “plug and play” laboratory on wheels that can test batteries, fuel cells, and other advanced vehicle technologies.

  • 11 a.m.–2 p.m. Sustainable Transportation Exhibits open to DOE staff and the general public.
  • 3 p.m.–5 p.m. Networking Event and Sustainable Transportation Exhibits open to EERE staff, industry representatives, government, and nonprofit stakeholders.
