The Interagency Sustainability Working Group (ISWG) is the coordinating body for sustainable federal buildings. This working group:

  • Serves as a forum for information exchange and promotes agency implementation of goals for sustainable buildings
  • Fosters discussions on widespread adoption of sustainable design and operations in the federal sector
  • Develops technical guidance and tools to support implementation of agency sustainability policies for federally owned, operated, and leased buildings.

Members

Chaired by the Federal Energy Management Program and the General Services Administration, ISWG members include representatives from every major federal agency.

Meetings

The ISWG meets bimonthly to discuss agency wide sustainability projects and policies. Presentations from past ISWG meetings are available on the GSA Sustainable Facilities Tool website.
