The U.S. Department of Energy Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) will host 2016 Energy Exchange Update, a First Thursday Update webinar on May 5, 2016, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. ET. 

This First Thursday Update will provide news about the 2016 Energy Exchange, which will be held on August 9-11, 2016, in Providence, Rhode Island. The broadcast will provide the latest information on registration, learning tracks, session topics, session speakers, plenary sessions, workshops, continuing education units (CEUs), and logistics.

Participants will receive key updates on:

  • Expert-led accredited training sessions on topics such as energy technology, security and resiliency, project financing, sustainability, and fleet management
  • The integrated trade show featuring cutting-edge products and services to help improve project outcomes and reduce costs 
  • Early and regular registration rates and benefits, hotel blocks with low rates, and other planning considerations.

The instructor for this webinar is FEMP Director Dr. Timothy Unruh.

After completing a course evaluation, participants will receive a certificate of completion for this unaccredited webinar. CEUs are not available for First Thursday Updates.

The one-hour training is free of charge, but advanced registration is required to obtain an Internet URL for the presentation. Registration for the broadcast will close on May 4, 2016.

FEMP First Thursday Updates are designed for federal energy and facility managers but are open to all individuals on the FEMP Training Catalog.
