The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) will present Fiscal Year 2015 Government Performance Toward Energy and Sustainability Goals, a new First Thursday Update on August 4, 2016, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

This First Thursday Update will provide a current assessment of progress made toward federal energy and water management and greenhouse gas reduction requirements. The session will include the most up-to-date discussion of overall government and individual agency performance related to federal facility and fleet management and greenhouse gas emissions reduction.

The webinar will present fiscal year 2015 key findings, including:

  • Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emission reductions
  • Facility energy intensity reductions
  • Renewables as a percentage of total electric energy
  • Agency performance contracting investments awarded
  • Water intensity reductions.

The instructor for this First Thursday Update is Chris Tremper, a program analyst who has more than 28 years of experience providing analytical support to DOE FEMP.

After completing a course evaluation, participants will receive a certificate of completion for this unaccredited webinar. Continuing education units are not available for First Thursday Updates. 

FEMP First Thursday Updates are designed for federal energy and facility managers but are open to all individuals on the FEMP Training Catalog
