Converted - FEMP Hosts Webinar on Large-Scale Renewable Energy Projects

February 4, 2014 - 2:20pm

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) is hosting the Large-Scale Renewable Energy Guide webinar on February 11, 2014. This one-hour learning opportunity will provide an overview of FEMP's comprehensive document, which describes the program's approach to renewable energy projects larger than 10 megawatts and provides guidance to Federal agencies and the private sector on how to develop a common process for implementing this approach.

Jeff Dominick from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory will provide a breakdown of the guide and discuss the different perspectives, goals, and roles of the Federal agency, project developer, and financier, so each party can understand the other and see where they fit within a common project development process.
