The Register of Implemented Energy Performance Improvement Actions (The “Register”) is designed to assist you in your path toward Superior Energy Performance 50001™ (SEP 50001™) program certification. The Register complements the SEP 50001 Program Measurement and Verification Protocol: 2019. Organizations pursuing certification to SEP 50001 (2019) or the 2017 version of the program will use this Register to provide the necessary documentation for the bottom-up comparison.

Completion of this Register does not guarantee certification. If you are not pursuing SEP 50001 program certification, you can still use this Register to organize and track your energy performance. The Register summarizes key details of each action’s implementation, including action description, actual energy savings, source of energy savings determination, and responsible party. All actions affecting the energy performance improvement over the achievement period should be included, regardless of whether the action is associated with ISO 50001 “Action Plans” or “Significant Energy Uses”. The Register should reflect energy savings over the reporting period; typically, this will be annual savings.

Previous versions of the Register were titled "Automated Register of Implemented Actions". This page was last updated on March 28, 2022.
