Mr. Baechler is a Senior Program Manager in the Electricity Infrastructure and Buildings Division at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). He has been at PNNL since 1984 and currently manages PNNL’s support to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Building America Program and Commercial Building Partnerships (CBP). PNNL works with the Building America teams, national laboratories, and DOE to conduct field studies and lab home experiments, and to articulate and package building science research findings into effective tools to assist the building industry. He is the primary author of the Building America Best Practices series and currently manages the Building America Solution Center. The CBP involves working with companies with large portfolios of commercial buildings to achieve aggressive energy efficiency improvements and to replicate those results. Mr. Baechler has an MPA from Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government, and a BA from the Honors College at the University of Oregon
