The Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy’s (EERE's) official print templates for technical reports, fact sheets, and brochures are available for download below.

We encourage you to use these templates for your EERE products. These templates were designed to allow EERE staff and contractors to produce EERE-branded files quickly and easily.

If you want to create your own template, have questions about the current template, or want to request additional templates, contact the EERE Publications Manager.

Templates include InDesign files with a pink design layer that provides tips and formatting instructions. If you do not have Adobe InDesign, you can use the design layer PDF as a reference for how to format your document using another publishing tool.

This is the EERE template for technical reports. The template was updated in November 2020 and is provided as an Adobe® InDesign® file and a Microsoft Word file. Please note our new policy to include author names on an inside page only.

The brochure templates were updated in September 2020.

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) letterhead template is available here for download in Microsoft Word .docx format.  This is the official letterhead for all offices within the DOE and should be used for all internal and external correspondence and memos.  This letterhead may only be used by DOE federal employees or contractors in the course of official DOE work.
