January 14, 2014: Home Energy Score Program Update and New Scoring Tool Release

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Home Energy Score program released its first major update to the Scoring Tool in December 2013. After more than a year of implementation and feedback from Partners, DOE made significant improvements to the Scoring Tool’s calculation methodology, user interface, and its ability to motivate homeowner investment in energy improvements. In this webinar, Joan Glickman, U.S. Department of Energy’s Home Energy Score Program Manager, provided an overview of the program, including lessons learned to date and the latest new developments. She also highlighted the updates to the Scoring Tool and how utilities, states and local governments, and others can use it to support residential energy efficiency goals. July 30, 2013: Home Energy Score Program Overview for the American Gas Association

U.S. DOE is getting ready to launch a new version of the Home Energy Scoring Tool, building on lessons learned and feedback received during the last year of nationwide program implementation. Participants on this webinar had the opportunity to engage with DOE, view a demo of the Scoring Tool, and learn about the plans for its future. Joan Glickman, Home Energy Score Program Manager, was joined by Home Energy Score Partner New Jersey Natural Gas, who has completed more than 2,300 scores to date. July 23, 2012: Home Energy Score Program Update

In this webinar, Joan Glickman, U.S. DOE Home Energy Score Program Manager, provides an update on the Home Energy Score program. The national program began its first phase of implementation in June 2012 and is actively recruiting Home Energy Score Partners and scoring homes. The webinar includes a status update on the program, information for interested Partners, and a brief overview of the analysis of data collected during the Pilot program. July, 24, 2012: Home Energy Score Pilot Analysis

From November 2010 to July 2011, the Home Energy Score program engaged with 10 Pilot Partners to run a yearlong pilot program to test the accuracy of the Scoring Tool and gather Assessor and homeowner feedback. In this webinar, Joan Glickman, U.S. DOE Home Energy Score Program Manager, reports on the findings from the pilot analysis.
