PROJECT OBJECTIVE

The Zero Energy Ready program is a voluntary program that identifies innovative home builders for achievements in energy efficiency and performance. The program recognizes home builders who apply proven innovations and best practices from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Building America research program along with other improvements that help ensure safe, comfortable, healthy, and durable home performance.

PROJECT IMPACT

To date, 286 builder partners have constructed more than 14,000 qualified homes under the Zero Energy Ready Home (and predecessor) program’s specifications.
