The 2,572-square-foot custom home with daylight basement, has 2-by-6 advanced framed walls filled with R-21 cellulose plus 2-inch rigid mineral wool insulation over the plywood sheathing, 4-inch rigid EPS under the slab, 2-inch rigid EPS on foundation walls, R-70 blown cellulose in the vented attic, triple-pane windows, two slim-duct heat pumps with short ducts for heating and cooling, and a heat-pump water heater.
