New Two-Part Webinar to Focus on Research-to-Market Plan and Roadmap

For more than 20 years, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Building America program has been partnering with industry to bring cutting-edge innovations and resources to market. This world-class program has been a source of innovations for high-performance homes.

In 2015, Building America developed the Building America Research-to-Market Plan and associated Technology-to-Market Roadmaps to help guide DOE’s investment in research, development, and demonstration activities applicable to advancing energy efficiency in the residential market.

Join Building America Program Director Eric Werling for a two-part webinar series intended to keep the building industry moving on a path of growth and enhanced building efficiency. 

Building America Research: Part 1 - Update and Outlook
Time: 3 p.m. ET

This webinar will cover progress toward achieving goals outlined in the Building America Research-to-Market Plan and associated Technology-to-Market Roadmaps and guide a detailed discussion of current research projects funded by Building America and how they connect to the Plan and Roadmaps. The webinar will also discuss upcoming market research needs, as identified in the Plan and Roadmaps.

Building America Research: Part 2 - What Makes a Successful Project? 
Time: 3 p.m. ET

The webinar will use work funded in fiscal years 2015 and 2016 to show clear examples of projects that make good business sense as a DOE/Building America investment. The webinar will cover direct connections to the Building America Research-to-Market Plan and associated Technology-to-Market Roadmaps, sound research questions, success metrics, and market transformation plans.
