Some state-level programs include:

State Technologies Advancement Collaborative Program

This collaboration of the National Association of State Energy Officials, the Association of State Energy Research and Technology Transfer Institutions, and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) provides funding for state energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.

State Energy Program

This collaboration of DOE and the states provides joint funding for state formula grant projects and local energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.

State Incentives and Resources Search

A DOE Web page designed by the Advanced Manufacturing Office (formerly the Industrial Technologies Program) includes state energy information for biomass, other renewable energy, and fossil energy.

State Fact Sheets

The U.S. Department of Energy provides joint funding to university, national laboratory, and industrial partners at the state level to research, develop, and demonstrate sustainable bio-based fuels and products.
