The Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) has released a new $10 million funding opportunity announcement (FOA) to support innovative technologies and solutions that could help achieve bioenergy development goals, but are not significantly represented in the Bioenergy Technology Office's (BETO's) existing multi-year program plans or current research and development portfolio. BETO intends to issue 5-10 awards to reduce the risk associated with potentially breakthrough approaches and technologies to help them be viable candidates for inclusion in future BETO roadmaps. The Bioenergy Technologies Incubator FOA Informational Webinar will be held Monday, March 3 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) to discuss standard application questions regarding the EERE Office and FOA procedures. Concept papers are due on March 31 at 5:00 p.m. EST, and full applications are due on May 23 at 5:00 p.m. EST. Please visit EERE Exchange for more information on the Bioenergy Technologies Incubator FOA and how to apply.
