NOTICE OF INTENT: Modular Chemical Process Intensification Institute for Clean Energy Manufacturing

The Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy intends to issue, on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Office, a Funding Opportunity Announcement entitled “Modular Chemical Process Intensification Institute for Clean Energy Manufacturing.” With approximately $70 million in funding, this public-private partnership will be the fourth Energy Department sponsored facility as part of the National Network of Manufacturing Innovation Institutes and presents significant opportunities to advance technologies to improve energy productivity, increase energy efficiency, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in energy-related manufacturing industries. The estimated period of performance for the award will be approximately 5 years.
