COHORT APPLICATION: ISO 50001/SEP Pilot Program – Due January 8

The U.S. Department of Energy invites applications for a pilot program to help companies implement ISO 50001 and the Superior Energy Performance (SEP) program across multiple facilities throughout North America and worldwide. This pilot program is in partnership with the Commission for Environmental Cooperation and national energy agencies in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Selected participants will learn how to apply and implement the ISO 50001 energy management system and SEP program as well as share best practices across multiple facilities to improve energy performance, reduce energy costs, and lower carbon emissions.

Smart Manufacturing FOA Application Due – January 29

A full application for the Manufacturing Innovation Institute for Smart Manufacturing: Advanced Sensors, Controls, Platforms, and Modeling for Manufacturing funding opportunity is due on Friday, January 29, 2016 by 5 pm EST.

SAVE THE DATE – 2016 Better Buildings Summit (May 9-11, 2016)

The Energy Department's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) will be hosting The 2016 Better Buildings Summit on May 9-11, 2016. This 3-day event is a national meeting where leading organizations across key sectors showcase solutions to cut energy intensity in their buildings portfolio-wide by 20% over the next ten years.
