NOTICE OF INTENT: National Network for Manufacturing Innovation (NNMI) Institute Awards Competition

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to announce a competition that will seek applications for new National Network for Manufacturing Innovation (NNMI) Institute awards. The competition for the new NIST funded NNMI Institutes is expected to be announced on Grants.gov in January 2016.

Superior Energy Performance® (SEP™) certifies industrial facilities that implement an energy management system that meets the ISO 50001 global energy management system standard and achieve improved energy performance. Hilton has also partnered with the U.S. Department of Energy through the Better Buildings Challenge to achieve a 20 percent energy savings goal over the next ten years.

Clean Energy Manufacturing Assessments Available for Download

Two new technology assessment reports from The 2015 Quadrennial Technology Review (QTR) are now available to access from the AMO website.

Combined Heat and Power Systems (6D) and Direct Thermal Energy Conversion Materials, Devices, and Systems (6G) are two of fourteen manufacturing-focused technology assessments prepared in support of Chapter 6: Innovating Clean Energy Technologies in Advanced Manufacturing.
