Targeted Review of Site Preparedness for Severe Natural Phenomena Events at the Y-12 National Security Complex

This report documents the results of an independent oversight targeted review of emergency preparedness for severe natural phenomena events at the Department of Energy's (DOE) Y-12 National Security Complex.  The review was conducted in December 2011 and January 2012 by the DOE Office of Safety and Emergency Management Evaluations, which is within the DOE Office of Health, Safety and Security.  The purpose of the
review was to evaluate the site's processes for identifying emergency response capabilities and maintaining them in a state of readiness in the event of a severe natural phenomenon event.
