f an independent oversight review of Richland Operations Office, CH2M Hill Plateau Remediation Company, and Mission Support Alliance conduct of operations activities.  The review was performed November 7 to 18, 2011, by the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Safety and Emergency Management Evaluations, which is within the DOE Office of Health, Safety and Security, and consisted of observing and shadowing a Richland Operations Office assessment of its contractors at the Hanford Site.  The primary goal of the Operations Office assessment was to determine the effectiveness of the contractors’ plans, procedures, programs, and work management and control processes in the areas of conduct of operations, quality assurance, and integrated safety management.
